The Secretary General is the chief administrative officer of the International Federation of eSports, responsible for overseeing the federation's operations, strategic planning, and international relations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the eSports landscape. Key responsibilities are:

• Administrative: Managing daily operations of federation and ensure effective collaboration among departments. Ensure compliance with International regulations and best practices.
• Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Developing and implementing the federation’s strategic goals and objectives. And monitoring progress towards achieving these goals. Develop and implement policies related to governance, competition, and participant’s welfare.
• Representation: Serve as primary spokesperson for the federation at international events and meetings. Foster relationship with stakeholders, including member organizations, sponsors and media.
• Event Coordination: Oversee the federation’s eSports events, initiatives and ensure adherence to standards and regulations set by the federation.
• Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets and financial reports. Ensure the federation’s financial sustainability and integrity.
• Member and Associates Management: Provide assistance and guidance to member associations and organizations. Promote engagement and collaboration among members.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present reports to the Executive Board and General Assembly. Maintaining records of federation’s activities and decisions.
• Advocacy and Promotion: Advocate for eSports development and recognition on global platforms. Promote the federation’s initiatives and values within the eSports community.

Job Specification

• Degree in Engineering and Master in Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 20 Years of a leadership role within sports, or esports or a relevant government department. (Ex senior government official may apply)
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and public speaking skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Deep understanding of the esports ecosystem and its stakeholders.

Job Description

• Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with associations, corporations, sponsors and eSports organizations. Negotiate sponsorship agreements and collaboration contracts to enhance federation visibility and funding.
• Business Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the federation’s goals. Monitor progress and effectiveness of business initiatives.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the eSports landscape. Analyse competitor activities and identify areas for growth.
• Event and Program Development: Collaborate with PR/event management teams to create sponsorship packages for tournaments and initiatives. Promote business opportunities within eSports events and competitions.
• Revenue Generation: Drive revenue through innovative business models, including merchandise, licensing and media rights. Achieving federation’s annual business goals. Explore and implement monetization strategies for eSports events and platforms.
• Networking and Relationship: Cultivate relationship with related government departments, industry stakeholders, including game developers, media outlets, and technology partners. Representing the federation at industry events, conferences and meetings.
• Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with marketing teams to promote business initiatives and partnership opportunities. Ensure alignment of branding across all business development activities.

• Partnership Acquisition: Actively seek out and engage potential sponsors from various industries, including technology, gaming and consumer products. Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

Job description

As the Institute Relationship Manager for the International Federation of eSports (IFeS), you will be responsible for promoting and establishing IFeS membership in schools and colleges. Your primary role will involve visiting educational institutions, meeting with principals and educational decision-makers, and persuading them to integrate IFES membership into their curricular.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Identify and prioritize schools and colleges for potential partnership based on educational relevance and interest in robotics and other e Sports.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with principals, educational boards, and other stakeholders to pitch the benefits of IFES Robo Clubs & IFeS membership.
• Develop persuasive presentations and materials to highlight the value proposition of IFeS membership in enhancing STEM education and fostering creativity and innovation.
• Collaborate with IFES headquarters to customize club offerings based on educational institution needs and local market demands.
• Coordinate with regional and national education authorities to ensure compliance and support for IFES Robo Clubs.
• Monitor and evaluate club performance, collect feedback, and implement improvements as necessary.
• Organize promotional events, workshops, and demonstrations to showcase the impact and benefits of IFES Robo Clubs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with educational partners, fostering long-term collaborations and loyalty to IFES.

Required Skills and Qualifications:-

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Preferably MBA/PGDM.
• Proven experience in educational sales, business development, or similar roles, ideally within the robotics or STEM education sector.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Candidate must have Laptop and Bike.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve ambitious targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region or territory.
